Hernán De Battista

Hernán De Battista nació en La Plata, Argentina, en 1968. Recibió los títulos de Ingeniero Electrónico (1994) y Doctor en Ingeniería (2000) por parte de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) de Argentina. Actualmente es Profesor Titular Ordinario Dedicación Exclusiva de la Facultad de Ingeniería (UNLP), Investigador Principal del CONICET y Director del Instituto de Investigaciones en Electrónica, Control y Procesamiento de Señales (LEICI). Sus investigaciones abarcan temas del control automático y sus aplicaciones a energías renovables y sistemas biológicos. Recibió las siguientes distinciones: Mención de Honor al Mejor Promedio de la Facultad de Ingeniería (1994), Premio E. Galloni de la Academia Nacional de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales (2002), Premio S. Gershanik de la Academia de Ingeniería de Buenos Aires (2006), Mención de Honor a la Innovación UNLP (2015).
