Emilia Fushimi has defended her PhD thesis

Friday December 10, Emilia defended his thesis "Advanced control strategies for artificial pancreas" in a public defense for the PhD-degree.

The opponents were Dr. Antonio Ferramosca, Dr. José Fernando García Tirado and Dr. Mariano de Paula.

On Monday, December 6th, Nicolás Rosales was awarded with the Post-Graduate Distinction award for his Ph.D. in Engineering.

Juan Luis Rosendo has defended his PhD thesis

Friday 22 March, 1430-1600: Juan Luis defended his thesis "ROBUST TECHNIQUES OF AUTOMATIC CONTROL FOR MOBILE ROBOTIC SYSTEMS" in a public defense for the PhD-degree.

The opponents were Dr. Carlos Soria, Universidad Nacional de San Juan - CONICET; Dr. Gerardo Acosta, Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires - CONICET; and Dr. Ignacio Mas Universidad de Buenos Aires - CONICET.

AADECA 2018

The Group of Control Applications participated in the 26º Automatic Control Argentine Conference AADECA 2018. Congratulations to the chair of the conference Hernán De Battista.

Artificial Pancreas: successfull new trials

15 November 2017, the group participated in new tests of the Artificial Pancreas developed in Latin America. The tests, carried out in the Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires, gave promising results.

Thursday 6 October, Fabricio Garelli was awarded with The Buenos Aires Academy of Engineering Prize 2016.

Martin Jamilis has defended his PhD thesis

Thursday 8 September, 1000-1130: Martin defended his thesis "MODELING, MONITORING AND CONTROL FOR BIOPLASTIC PRODUCTION PROCESSES" in a public defense for the PhD-degree.

November 2015, Hernán De Battista & Fabricio Garelli were awarded with The Innovation Prize 2015.

Research project

The group has recently received funding from the National Agency for the Promotion of Science and Technology (Argentina) for the project entitled “Switched dynamical systems and invariance. Application to the control, optimization and monitoring of biological processes and systems" (Grant: PICT-2014-2394) under the direction of Dr. H. De Battista.
